Welcome to The Sweet Escape Retreat at Trefnant Bach, Anglesey
At The Sweet Escape Retreat, we pride ourselves on our warm luxurious Welsh welcome  We are vegetarian and vegan friendly and will happily accommodate dietary requirements such as dairy, egg and gluten intolerances.

Our home, Trefnant Bach, is by no means an ordinary B&B. It is an unique get away from it all retreat and an inspiration for artists and nature lovers. We encourage you to unwind, relax and connect with nature in our meadows, lakeside and woodland.

Roughly translated, Trefnant Bach means "little abode of the stream" and originates from medieval times. Remnants of the past like the thick stone walls and quaint window seats remain, providing clues of the building's history.

Your hosts, Dawn and Dafydd, have a wealth of local knowledge and look forward to ensuring that your stay is comfortable and relaxing. We hope that our attention to detail and our use of locally or home produced ingredients, where possible, will make your stay a memorable one.

Outside, we manage the 7½ acre small holding sensitively to provide habitats for wildlife. We encourage you to bring with you your boots, to explore our meadows, woodland and lakeside paths and experience the relaxing power of nature in  this haven for wildlife.

Trefnant Bach was the childhood home of Tecwyn Roberts, who became NASA's first Flight Dynamics Officer and was instrumental in the success of the manned moon landings. To honour his achievements, we have erected a plaque and named our rooms the Apollo Suite and the Mercury room.
